Show F. F. A. REPORTS The Springville chapter of Future Fu-ture Farmers of America has organized or-ganized for the testing of milk from all the cows on the farms of its members. At the present the club has seventy-six cows tested test-ed and expect to increase this to one hundred cows. The milk is weighed morning and night. The milk from each cow will be tested once a month for butterfat. The feed fed to each cow is weighed and at the end of each month the cost of producing the butterfat can be determined. The club members also make sediment tests on samples of the milk from each farm. The boys have six registered cows and expect ex-pect to have six mores as additional addi-tional ones can be located and purchased. pur-chased. The club's sixty members have each selected his project for this year with some of the boys taking tak-ing as high as four projects. In the chapter program for this year each members has been assigned as-signed to some particular activity in putting over the program. This gives experience and responsibility to each member. The next big event will be the Harvest Ball, which will be held on the night of Nov. 22, in the Springville High School Gym. The boys -will have charge of the dance and of the school assembly Wednesday Wed-nesday before Thanksgiving. |
