Show CITIZENS' PARTY TO CONDUCT PRIMARY OCT. 13, Registration For City Election Scheduled N For Tuesday, Oct. 12, 26 First signs of interest in the coming city elections were made this week with announcement of a forthcoming primary. The Citizens' party is planning a primary next ' Wednesday evening, eve-ning, October 13, at 8 p. m., at the Little Theater of the high school Art building, for the purpose of making nominations for the Citizens' Citi-zens' party ticket. It is believed that most of the incumbent city officials will be run for office in the coming city election.. To be eligible to register for the city election, one must have lived in the state for at least one year, in the county for four months, and in this precinct at least 60 days. Two registration days are scheduled sched-uled in Springville before the regular reg-ular city election on Nov. 2, it was announced Wednesday by Glenn Hansen, city recorder. Registration days will be on Tuesday, October 12, and on Tuesday, Tues-day, October 26. Mrs. Bernice Beardall is registration agent for District One; Mrs.. Emily Miner, District Two; Mrs. Maude Curtis, District Three; Mrs. Millie Sutherland, Suther-land, District Four; Mrs. Frankie Averett, District Five; Mrs. Barbara Bar-bara Francis, District Six; Mrs. Helen Thorpe, District Seven; Mrs. Jeannette Ullock, District Eight. Persons who should register are those who failed to cast ballots in the municipal elections two years ago, or at the general election elec-tion last fall; those who have reached their 21st birthday since the last election, or those who have naturalized since the last election. |
