CAMP HOBBLE CREEK Daughters of the Utati Pioneers, Camp Hobble Creek, were entertained enter-tained Wednesday evening at the home of Mary Boyer, with Captain Cap-tain Anna Beardall acting as assisting as-sisting hostess. Myrtle Childs gave the lesson and Mary Boyer gave a history of her grandmother. Present were Lyle Childs, Anna Beardall. Margaret Childs, Louise Childs, Mae Huntington, Man' Fillomer, Myrtle Childs, Rhea Straw, Naomi Beardall, Lois Rig-trup, Rig-trup, and the hostess. The next meeting will be held Wednesday, December 18, at the home of Mrs. Mae Huntington. PRIMARY OFFICERS SPONSOR PARTY Complimentary to Mrs. Vayne Zobell, nee Tess Taylor, a recent bride, and to outgoing Primary officers, of-ficers, the officers and teachers of the Fourth ward entertained at a party Friday evening at the home of Mrs. Theo Thorpe. Mrs. Zobell and Mrs. Pearl Hall, outgoing first counselor, both received re-ceived lovely gifts from those present. Miscellaneous games were played play-ed during the evening, after which a delicious luncheon was served to sixteen guests. -J. LES VIVAXTES EXJOY PARTY THURSDAY Assisted by Miss Lucille Curtis, Miss Lucille Walker was hostess to members of Les Vivantes club Thursday evening at her home. Luncheon was served at eight o'clock from one long table centered cen-tered with polnsettlas and tapers in keeping with a Christmas theme. Attractive favors were also designed according to the holiday season. Games were played during the evening and social conversation enjoyed. Those attending besides the hostesses were Lucille Jenkins, Louise Hjorth, Berinece Woffln-den, Woffln-den, Anine Fox, Florence Bram-mall. Bram-mall. Enid Rowland, Virginia Tattle, Tat-tle, Catherine Tuttle, and Catherine Cather-ine Hooper of Provo was a special guest. JEUXE MT3RE CLUB HEARS BOOK REVIEW Mrs. D. B. Welch gave a review of the book, "Jacoby's Corners," by Jake Flagstaff, at a meeting of the Jeune Mere club held Wednesday Wed-nesday evening at the home of Mrs. Edna Clyde. In conclusion a delicious luncheon lunch-eon was served to the following members: Mrs. Florence Allan, Mrs. Margaret Blackett, Mrs. Naomi Na-omi Crandall, Mrs. Naomi Thorn, Mrs. Maurine Haymond, Mrs. Fay Haymond, Mrs. Beth Jensen, Mrs. Florence Nielson, Mrs. Minnie Richards, Mrs. Marie Whiting, Mrs. Mabel Wright, Mrs. True Clyde, and Mrs. Roberta Green who was a special guest. |
