Show SCOUTS FETED AT MAPLETON As part of the observance of National Boy Scout WeelC scouts were entertained Wednesday evening eve-ning in the new Mapleton ward chapel, and amusement hall. The party was in the form of a banquet with Will Whiting as toastmaster. The program during the evening included the showing of pictures of their Colorado River trip by Mr. and Mrs. Roy Despain. , Fred Medved played a harmonica har-monica solo and Earl Pate sang vocal solos. Claude Salisbury, Dr. Merrill of Provo, and President Gardner of Palmyra Stake gave talks during the evening The scouts gave several original stunts as part of the program. Will Whiting, scoutmaster, was in charge of arrangements. |
