Show DON ASHCRAFT SERVICES SET Funeral services for Don Ash-craft, Ash-craft, 65, who died Wednesday morning at his home following complications from a recent illness, ill-ness, will be held Sunday, February Febr-uary 18, at 2 p. m. in the Third Ward chapel. He was born August 18, 1874, at Provo, Utah, son of James EH Ashcraft and Lavrina E. Fullmer. He married Alice Wordsworth, March 29, 1898 in the Salt Lake Temple. Five children were born to them. He was employed by the Denver and Rio Grande R. R. Co., and had a clear record for 36 years service as locomotive engineer for 26 years. He was retired August 18, 19 34 because of poor vision. He and his four sons purchased a farm in Springville in 192 0 and worked together until 1935. He was a high Priest and took an active part in the church, serving serv-ing as Councellor of the Genealogical Genealogi-cal committee until his illness. He was recently released as a Stake Missionary. He was Presiding Elder Eld-er of the Thistle branch while he lived there, and took an active part in church work at Soldier Summit. He also sent two sons on missions. , Besides his widow heissurvived by the followingsonsand daughter.
