Show TWO PEOPLE ARE INJURED IN AUTO ACCIDENT Mrs. Bert Whiting of Mapleton is recovering from painful injuries injur-ies sustained in an automobile accident ac-cident last Thursday at the intersection inter-section of Third South and Second Sec-ond East street. She suffered a fractured ankle and cuts about the head and face, and shock. The accident occurred, according to investigating officers, when a car driven by Robert Herbert of Springville, and the Whiting car, driven by Neil Whiting, crashed at the intersection. The Herbert car was struck broadside and it turned turn-ed over twice. Mr. Herbert escaped with lacerations about his face. Both cars were almost completely demolished. Investigating the accident were Owen Beardall, of the state road patrol, and City Marshal J. A. Thorn. ' |
