Show Legion District Meet Set For Sunday Post War Employment Problems Will Be Discussed At Session Schduled For 1 P. M., At Springville Memorial Hall A conference of the Fourth District American Legion is being planned for 1 p .m., Sunday, in the Springville Memorial hall to work out a program to help with the employment problem of veter- ans after the war, announces J. A. Miller, district commander. An invitation is extended to Post officials, to post service officers, offi-cers, city officials, all Legionnaires Legion-naires of the ' district and others interested, to attend the meeting. J. Harry Hickman, department commander, A. H. Horsely, department de-partment adjutant, both of Salt Lake City, Leslie Mildenhall, Pro-vo, Pro-vo, district manager of the U. S. Employment Service, are among those who will give talks at the convention. Also, Mayor George E. Larson of Spanish Fork, past department commander, will give an outline of post-war plans in connection with the employment problem,, underway in Spanish Fork. The meeting will be under the direction of Commander Miller and Harold Mower of Provo, district vice-commander. |
