Show TIRST WARDERS CAPTURE CONSOLATION Locals Win Three Games In Row After Dropping' Initial Tilt In All-Church The Springville First ward M. Men cagers, winners of the district 6 title, returned home from the All-Church meet with the consolation consola-tion prize. First, after dropping a close 32 to 34 decision to the Salt Lake 27th ward, captured three remaining games for the consolation honors. In the second round game, First defeated the Ogden 14th ward by a lopsided score of 40 to 20. They then turned back a fast Santa Clara five in the third round, 39-22. 39-22. Bonneville, ward winner of the Salt Lake region 9 tourney, fell before the locals in the final night's game 45 to 28. Every player play-er on the First ward team played in the big meet and did a nice job of it.
