The cost or' stalling the meter is $35.00 Sprinkling Laws To Be Enforced Throughout City Springville city councilmen are optimistic in the fact that they are announcing plans this week to strictly enforce the sprinkling this summer. Edward Boyer, of the city council coun-cil stated today that there is plenty of water if everyone uses it as it should be used and if anyone is found guilty of violation of the sprinkling laws, they will have to install a me'ter. Citizens who have meters installed in-stalled may use the hose at any time, Mr. Boyer stated, but those without meters will have a schedule sched-ule and must adhere strictly to it. If a meter is desired, application must be made soon and it will be installed as time allows. The water rate for those on meters will be a minimum charge of $1.25 per month for the first 18,000 gallons. The next 22,000 gallons will be charged out at ten cents per 1000 ! gallon,; the next 20,000 gallon at eight cents per 1000 gallon. Mr. Boyer stated that a check of meters indicates that the meter rates as scheduled are about the same or perhaps slightly lower than the regular water rate and are much lowed than in other cities nearby.
