City Asks Bids On Installing Wafer Pipe Line A discussion of installation of new water pipe line for the city water project, took up a major portion of the time at the city council meeting Monday evening. Bids for the installation are being j asked this week, with sealed pro- j posals to be accepted at the city recorders office until 7:30 p.m., on April 16. City officials also discussed landscaping land-scaping of the Memorial Park, east of the Grant School. Dale Despain of the county planning commission, is to draw up a map designating where trees and shrubs are to be planted and work on this phase of improving the recreational area will get underway as soon as possible, pos-sible, it was announced.
