Show High School News ' Mary Ann CliiUls and Marilyn Roylance Friday night the Junior Prom went over as a big success. The Juniors should be proud of the Promenade and the number of-juniors of-juniors that participated in the dance. We, as juniors, would also like to thank the Senior boys that helped out. The committee did an excellent job in getting the gym decorated and thanks to the kids that helped in the decorating. The gym was decorated in three shade of blue and white. Pink roses were pinned to the white pillars at each entrance to the floor. On the east end of the gym a balcony was fixed with a silouette of a boy and girl standing on the balcony. The theme "Moonlight Serenade" was written on the false wall under the balcony. Friday the assembly was put on by the Junior Class to advertise the Junior Prom. Most of the entertainment en-tertainment of the asesmbly was juniors, although they had other entertainment. They did an excellent excel-lent job and did well in getting a crowd to the dance Friday. Thursday in the high school auditorium aud-itorium the annual art assembly will be presented. It is scheduled to begin at 2:15 p.m. The numbers of the high school a'cappella choir will be presented. Congratulations are in order this week for the fine work the high school FFA club has done in their work. We also wish to congratulate Mr. Stevens, their faculty adviser. They took top honors at the State meet in Parliamentary procedure. |
