Attractive table decorations to emphasize the St. Patrick month consisted of a large gTeen hat filled with daffodils from which gTeen and white streamers crossing the tables to place cards of green shamrocks. The table decorations were in charge of Mrs. Bill Averett and Mrs. John Wightsil. Uaycee Wives Hear Social Worker Talk Charles R. McKell, chief social worker for the State hospital, discussed dis-cussed mental health at a meeting of the Jaycees Wives at Kapp's Melody Inn on Wednesday evening of last week. Among other things, he stated that the cost of general hospital care for patients in Utah was $15 per day, yet the State hospital was getting along on an average of S3 per day. However, he said much good is being accomplished in spite of the handicap of too few doctors and nurses and other attendants. He commended the good done by the ladies clubs which he said were responsible in a measure for recent re-cent legislation governing-the status sta-tus of the State hospital. He reminded re-minded the ladies that progress in treatment at the hospital depended largely on the interest citizens took in the insitution. Mrs. Eldon Wilson introduced the speaker and she with Mrs. Lee Mnier and Mrs. LaMar Boyer were in charge of arrangements. After a short business meeting conducted by President Marjorie Miner, Mrs. Lee Done modeled the dress uniforms which the JC Wives will wear to the -national conven- tion at Colorado Springs, Colo., in I June.
