Show Junior Wildlife Meets Friday; Winners Listed The Junior Wildlife group will meet for a short business session at 7:30 Friday night at the bowling alley after which they will go swimming. Lifesaving and swimming swim-ming techniques will be stressed during their swim. Despite the stormy weather, which not only dampened the ground but also dampened some of the spirits of would-be parties" pants in the state Junior Wildlife shoot scheduled here last Saturday, Satur-day, the Jaycees conducted the shoot in the basement of Memorial hall. Many of the clubs who were to participate were kept away because be-cause of the weather and conse-I quently only the Springville club teams participated. Winners of the shoot in the 11-13 age groups were Grant Simons, first place; Michael Chappie, second. sec-ond. In the 14-15 age group, Kae Weight took first and Ronald Miller Mil-ler second. 16-17 age group was won by Lynn Gottfredson with Robert Hutchings second. Grant Simons shot high for the day. It is planned to hold a much bigger and better shoot in May when weather conditions will allow the shoot to be held at the rifle range. |
