Collett Binks was honored by fellow employees of the First Security Se-curity Bank of Provo at a party fcwhich was held at the home of Mrs. Caroline Woffinden of Orem Thursday night. Mrs. Mitzi Brant assisted the hostess. The evening was spent in playing games and refreshments were served to thirteen thir-teen young women. Mrs. Lilly Hopia spent several days in Salt Lake City visiting relatives rel-atives and friends. Mrs. Pearl Holley who has been seriously ill for some time is in fcthe Utah Valley hospital for treatment. treat-ment. Mrs. A. P. Astel is in the Spanish Span-ish Fork hospital with a broken hip which she suffered in an accident ac-cident in her home last week. Miss Mary Ann Bird has returned to her home after spending the summer with her sister and her husband, Dr. and Mrs. Eugene Robertson of Detroit, Michigan. Mary Ann is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Freeman Bird. Mrs. Maud Woodward Jensen of San Bernardino, California, is now spending several weeks visiting with relatives and friends in Mapleton, Map-leton, Spanish Fork and Salt Lake City. While here she has-been the guest of Mr. and Mrs. Frank M. Jensen. Her daughter Mrs. James Madison has also spent a week visiting friends and relatives here. Mrs. Madison is a resident of San Bernardino too. eral months in California working on the construction of the Los Angeles temple, was the guest speaker. The evening was spent in finishing fin-ishing a quilt for the bazaar. Attending At-tending were Jennie Tew, Ardilla Perry, Inez Harmer, Sadie Whiting, Whit-ing, Senate Mendenhall, Nellie Wiscombe, Gladys Parry, Ethel Jensen, Jane Jensen and Amanda Binks. Mr. and Mrs. Reed Larsen have recently returned from a delightful delight-ful three weeks trip to New Jersey Jer-sey where they visited at the home of Mr. and Mrs. James Marziale who live in Montclair. Mrs. Marziale Mar-ziale is the former Norma Larsen. Lar-sen. Highlights of their trip was their visit to Niagarra Falls and to Hill Cumorah and historical spots in church history. Mrs. Phyllis Johnson was hostess hos-tess to her bridge club Thursday evening at her home. Participating were Lois Childs, Beth Parker, Louise Gamble, Gloria Howard, Ila Cook of Springville and Elinor Brimhall of Provo, club members. Also Helen Wright of Springville who was a special guest. Refreshments Refresh-ments were served. Wilburn Johnson spent the week end visiting at the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Johnson. John-son. He has recently returned from a three months sojourn in Europe where he has spent the summer touring England, Holland and Germany. He is now registered at the University of Utah where he will study this fall. Mr., and Mrs. Ira Williams of Jacksonville, Florida, have been house guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. E. F.
