Show Forum . . . i Yesterday, a visitor at the Roy Wightman home received a ticket (later revoked) for parking on the north side of the street in front of the Wightman home as there is a sign there reading "NO PARK- i ING". The sign doesn't say for i how long or when, just NO PARKING. PARK-ING. On the east side of the 'Wightman property, it looks like all the high school students and s teacher's cars which used to be i parked on the south side of the property on the highway, have t found a new parking area. And as I a result, the Wightmans at times are unable to get into their own lot People who visit them are forced to park on the other, side i of the street or a block away. Now you say, what can be done ? The new regulations are experi- ; mental and are being enforced for I safety sake. ; The Wightman property is not ' the only one effected by parking : of student and teacher cars. Often, we have been told, property owners own-ers on the east side of the street south of the shop building are not able to get in or out of their places because of cars parked in front of i their homes and even in driveways. : It looks like the high school would either have to provide a parking area for student and teacher cars or invoke a new regulation regu-lation that everyone walk to school. f- |
