Show struction for beginners were designed de-signed to increase the local firm's services to the city's keglers this coming season. Mrs. Berton Groesbeck left on Friday of last week to spend two weeks in Coronado, Calif, with her daughter and son-in-law, Mr.; and Mrs. Glenn Garrett and their new baby daughter born Nov. 14. She will -return with Mr. Groesbeck who plans to go down to see the baby next week. Jown . . . Gary Waite, son of Mr. and Mrs. M. F. They were were former well-known residents res-idents of this city. Mr. and Mrs. Abe Ullock left Salt Lake City Tuesday by plane to spend Thanksgiving and Christmas Christ-mas with their daughter and son-in-law, Dr. and Mrs. C. E. Hopla (Moyra Ullock) and three children, child-ren, Rickey, Danny and Kristine at Norman, Oklahoma. Dr. Hopla is teaching and doing research work at the University of Oklahoma. Okla-homa. The Ullocks were looking forward to a delightful vacation as it was their first trip by plane. Mrs. Ada Jessee left Friday to spend the winter at the home of her son-in-law and family in Mesa, Ariz. Mrs. Jessee has spent most of the winters at Mesa since the death of her daughter some years ago. Mrs. Ruth R. Black of Brigham City was in Springville on Friday of last week to see the pioneer tree in front of the Third-Ninth ward church and to gather information infor-mation and a picture of the landmark, land-mark, which she planned to- use in a DUP camp lesson in her city next week. Mervin Redden, owner of Art City Bowling and Recreation, 45 W. 2nd So., Springville, has just returned from a visit to Chicago where he attended the Brunswick Bowling Proprietors School.
