The general deer hunting season will begin Saturday, October 20th, with an eleven day, either sex hunt being the rule for most of the state's sixty-two deer herd units Board members scheduled more liberal hunting regulations for many deer herds in a similar pattern pat-tern to the 1955 seasons as all facts and information gathered showed ample deer numbers for the fall harvest. In only one general area was the hunt set for less than eleven days, that being the Heaston-Vernon-Stansbury section where a seven day hunt, October 20th through 26th, was decreed.
