Mrs. Jones is the former Jane Condie daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Condie and her husband's parents were the late Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Jones of Payson. The Manti LDS Temple was the scene of their marriage which took place July 5, and on Friday evening eve-ning they were feted at a reception held in the Springville Third-Ninth Ward church. Jane's wedding dress was of Chantilly lace underscored with satin. The sweeping folds of the skirt, finished around the bottom with pleated tulle, fell entrain from the long-sleeved bodice; and her veil of matching tulle was held to a beaded cloche. Clusters of pink rosebuds surrounded the orchid or-chid in her bridal bouquet. Her attendants were frocked in dotted nylon in shades of blue and pink and included Carolyn Sum-sion, Sum-sion, maid of honor;. Ruth Stewart, Stew-art, Geniel Ashcraft, Delia Gogarty and Mary Ann Clyde, bridesmaids. They carried nose gays of carnations. carna-tions. The bride's mother was in pink lace and the step-mother of the groom who represented his late parents, was attired in blue. Each wore a corsage of pink rosebuds. Adding the festive touch to the reception were the flowered candelabra can-delabra before which the bridal party stood, and special music which included organ interludes by Mrs. LaCelle Sumsion, Mrs. Max Sumsion and Mrs. Bliss Hoover and vocal solos by Mary Ann Clyde, DeVere Erb and Betty Ann Hoover. The layered wedding cake, frosted frost-ed in lacy white and topped with a double ring, rested on an embroidered em-broidered cutwork cloth. On either side were candelabra tied with blue ribbon bows and small silver bells. At the door to greet the guests were Mr. and Mrs. Glen Loveless and Mr. and Mrs. Rex Packard. Lela Ann McKenzie attended the guest registry. Arranging gifts were Mrs. George D. Clyde, Mrs. Kenneth Gottfredson, Mrs. Duane Jones and Mrs. C. F. Packard with Rulon Condie and Blaine Straw assisting as girx-Dearers. Mrs. Max Packard presided as hostess in the refreshment room where guests were served by cousins cou-sins and friends of the bride. Hosts-at-large were Mr. and Mrs. Vernon Condie and Mrs. Neil Condie. |
