Show Carol Jacobsen To Take Tour To Europe June 30 . Miss Carol Jacobsen, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A. E. Jacobsen and a junior next year at the BYU, will accompany the "Y" group of 36 people in a tour of Europe, j which leaves next" Friday, June 30. Enroute to New York, they will sight-see in Chicago and in Wash-! Wash-! ington, D. C. and New York and will sail for LeHarve, France, June 3. The tour will include the countries coun-tries of France, Germany, Holland, England, Belgium, Austria, Italy, Switzerland, Denmark, and Sweden. Swe-den. Part of the group will return in August, but Miss Jacobsen will continue with the tour of the Scandinavian Scan-dinavian countries, returning about September 15. The group comprises mostly students stu-dents with some former students of the "Y" together with Chaperons Chaper-ons Dr. and Mrs. Max Rogers of the BYU and Arthur Wat'kins of Weber College. There will also be Mrs. George Hansen, wife of Dean Hansen and Mrs. Dora McDonald and a registered nurse, Irene Blake. During the tour, the group will visit the various mission homes and headquarters in Europe in addition ad-dition to the many tourist attrac-' tions. They will also receive BYU credit for the tour. Miss Jacobsen, in addition to attending the "Y" is secretary to Dr. Harold Glenn Clark of the BYU. |
