Show JC's Will Install New Officers At Meeting Tonite Jaycees will install Louis (Bud) Schardine as president of the Springville club at a dinner-meet- r - ' Louis Schardine ing this evening at which Wm. Welch, Jr., past JC president and mayor of Price, will speak. The meeting, a ladies night affair will begin at 8 p.m., at Kapps Melody Ini. Other officers to tnke over their duties at the installation are: Don Humphrey and Allan Daniclson, vice-presidents; Clyde Benrdall, secretary and Bill Jones, treasurer. The board of directors included Dick Wheeler, Art Mitchell Joe White, Blaine Ostlpr, Hal Bri'nker-hoff, Bri'nker-hoff, George Herbert, with Kent Palfreyman, retiring- president automatically au-tomatically becoming the state director. Floyd Graves will be master of ceremonies at the dinner. Jaycees also announce that plans are coming along for the soap box derby of Utah state to be held in Springville July 16. The soap box winning car of 1951 is now exhibited exhib-ited at the Sinclair Service station and prospective entries and others interested are invited to see it. The club is seeking more sponsors for entries into the racing event. The sponsors may be individuals or groups. The club also reports that the calendar drive has been completed and that the calendars will be ready for distribution about June 1. |
