Show Fyfure Farmers ?lm Active Prcoram of Events Gordon Thorpe has been named president of the Springville Chapter, Chap-ter, Future Farmers of America, with George Hone, vice-president; Dan Carley, secretary; David Clo-ward, Clo-ward, treasurer; Milton Beck, reporter re-porter and Jesse Warren, sentinal. Plans are underway by the boys for their fathers and sons barbeque which is planned for April 30 at 5 p.m., at Kelley's Grove. Committees Commit-tees have been assigned to arrange for guest speakers, invitations, program and recreation. Also the chapter members are planning to have four or five judging teams at the state contest con-test at Logan May 6 and 7, to judge livestock, dairy, meats, poultry poul-try and possibly farm machinery. The members will also have several sev-eral fat steers, 12 sheep, a head of dairy cattle and 13 hogs in the contest. At the Salt Lake show, they hope to have several head of fat steers and sheep entered. I |
