Taylor Newlyweds on Tour of Southern Utah Canyons Following Home Ceremony In an impressive ceremony last Tuesday evening, Miss Phyllis Lynne Christensen, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Linden Christensen of Mt. Pleasant, became the tride of "EVnnlr A mril Tnvlnr snn rf TiVankS Frank Arvil Taylor, son of FrankS Taylor of this city and the late Anna T. Taylor. Leo Robertson, former bishop of the Fourth ward, performed the wedding rites at the home of the bridegroom's parents, in the presence pres-ence of immediate family members and close friends. The bride is a granddaughter of the artist J. H. Stansfield. For the wedding ceremony, she was attired in a beautiful pink and white afternoon gown with eyelet and lace trim. She held a bouquet of white carnations and pink rose-buds. Her only attendant attend-ant was Miss Carol Hanks of Salem, Sa-lem, who was attired in a sheer pastel colored afternoon dress. Bert Talmage wwas best man. The home was prettily decorated for the wedding with pink and white cut flowers and ferns throughout. After the ceremony an informal reception was held and later the newlyweds left on a wedding trip to southern Utah. The bride attended the Mt. Pleasant high school and the Wasatch Was-atch Academy and graduated from nursing at the LDS hospital in 1948. She also received her degree from the BYU this spring. |
