Show Special Baseball Meeting Called for Monday Niqht J. F. Wingate, president of the Springville' baseball association has called a meeting next Monday," July 6, for all board members and all those interested in backing baseball here, to attend. The meeting meet-ing will be held in ,the Fire Kail beginning at 8 p.m. President Wingate stated that anyone , interested in baseball should attend, including the youngsters young-sters who will be the players of tomorrow. Much more interest will help bring the baseball spirit back to its own in Springville and will provide good wholesome recreation for the fellows participating. Mr. Wingate pointed out that our baseball team has done a com- mendable job in first half league play and with the acquiring of a few new players for the second half, the chances for top honors are bright and a much improved ball club should give rivals plenty of. better baseball during the last half of league play.
