Honored at Pretty Home Reception In a pretty home setting last Friday evening, Mr. and Mrs. Cornell Jessee honored their daughter and new SOn-in-law. Mr. and Mrs .Tamps M RswIp at. a reception. The bride, formerly Miss Elaine Jessee and Mr. Rawle whose mother moth-er is Mrs. Mae Rawle of Morgan, were married in the Logan temple on Thursday. A pink and white color scheme was carried out in various details of the reception with peonies and roses decorating, throughout the entertaining rooms. A beautiful 3-tiered wedding cake reflected in a mirrored background banked with sweet peas which were on a lace crocheted cloth over pink. The pretty brunette bride was gowned in a crisp taffetta with bodice and peplum of lace with tucked yoke and tiny stand-up collar. Her short veil was edged with lace with white sequin trim and she carried a bouquet of pink carnations and stephanotis. Mrs. Dorothy Miner stood as matron of honor and Marie Boren and Carol Holmes were bridesmaids. brides-maids. They were attired in pretty frocks of net and taffetta with matching corsages. Ronnie Rowle, brother to the bridegroom, was best man. Also in the receiving line were the parents of the bride and groom. Mrs. Jessee wore an afternoon dress of aqua while Mrs. Morgan chose one of light blue. Both wore corsages of matching flowers. Favorite recordings of the young couple furnished background music mu-sic for the evening. Gifts were arranged by Mrs. Ferrell Wood and Mrs. William Linford. Mrs. Grant Miner and, Mrs. Chester Ross had charge of the refreshments and were assisted assist-ed by Carolyn Clark, Joyce Hatfield, Hat-field, Mary Ann Duke, Lenore Crandall and Lela Ann McKenzie, who served. On Saturday morning, the newlyweds new-lyweds left for their honeymoon and to make their home in California, Cali-fornia, where the groom is stationed station-ed in the armed forces. |
