Show Jown ... Mrs. Edna Thorpe and two children chil-dren returned Sunday from an enjoyable en-joyable vacation trip to Pullman, Wash. Enroute they stopped at Salina to visit Mrs. Thorpe's brother, broth-er, Albert Starr, and his wife and their new baby daughter, born on April 17. At Pullman they visited Mr. and Mrs. Warren Starr and I family. i 3 1 Miss Maurine Mamvaring left i recently for St. George, where she J plans to spend several weeks do-3 do-3 ing temple work. Mr. and Mrs. A. O. Thorn re- i turned home this week from Bill- ings, Montana, where they visited j several days with their son Bryce and his wife and little daughter. I Bryce is working as a salesman in I Montana. Mr. and Mrs. Charles Stone arrived ar-rived in SpringvilIe the latter part of last week, being called here due to the flooding of Hobble Creke over their property on First East and Center Streets. Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Clegg have beo nin SpringvilIe the past few .days from Dugway, because of the Hobble Creek waters threatening their property on Fourth East street. Dr. and Mrs. Blake Gammell returned re-turned this week from a trip east. They went by plane to Detroit, where they picked up a new car and then raveled ino Canada and to Niagara Falls, N. Y. Enroute home they visited many points of interest inter-est in the east, central and mid-western mid-western states. |
