Mr. and Mrs. Dean Packard, nee Miss Melba Child s Mr., Mrs. Dean Packard Back from Wedding TripJo Live in Salt Lake ; Making their home at 228 Douglas Ave., Salt Lake City are newlyweds, Mr. and Mrs. Dean Packard, Pack-ard, who were married in Salt Lake Temple rites it Tuesday and subsequently i-.or.ored at a reception in the ijringville Third-Ninth ward. Tie bride, formerly Miss Melba C3d, is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. T. E. Child of this city and j t'.e groom, is a son of Mr. and fe Max Packard also of this ::''. For her wedding, the new Mrs. Packard choose an exquisite gown :;' white satin and Chantilly lace :;;hioned entrain. A scalloped :.;ckline was pearl trimmed and :hc filmy illusion veil fell finger-Jp finger-Jp length from a tierra of pearls, she carried orchids. Tee matron of honor, Mrs. James Taylor of Spanish Fork, vore a floor-length gown of yellow 'iffetta. Her flowers were roses ad carnations. Three bridesmaids, all in frocks of blue taffetta, carried bouquets if yellow pom-poms. They were Mrs. Robert Thorn, Mrs. Merlin Norton and Miss Doris Jensen. ! i The bride's mother wore a for-i for-i aal of rose crepe. Mrs. Packard, 1 mother of the groom, was in pale ?rchid crepe and both wore corsages cor-sages of gardenias and roses. Best man was eKnt Miner and -shers were Robert Thorn and Dick Sumsion.
