Show Newlyweds Home from Honeymoon;! Making Their Home in Mt. Pleasant One of the lovliest of fall weddings was held in the Second ward Chur,ch Sept. 17th, honoring newly-weds newly-weds Mr. and Mrs. Jack W. Jensen. The couple ex- changed marriage vows in the Logan Temple on Tuesday, Sept. 16. The bride is the former Colleen Allan, pretty daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Howard Allan of Springville and the groom is from Mt. Pleasant, Pleas-ant, son of Mrs. Hilma Jensen. For her reception, tho bride chose a gown of white satin with small collar and fashioned with tiny buttons down the front. The bodice had inserts of lace and long pointed sleeves. Her fingertip veil was held by a satin cap trimmed with seed pearls and she carried a bridal bouquet of white carnations centered with a purple orchid. Myrleen Allan, cousin of the bride was maid of honor and bridesmaids were Darlene Clark, Norma Jean Holt, and Beulah Rae Webb. They were .attired in multicolored multi-colored formals and carried white and pink nosegays. The wedding party stood in front of tall burning candles and baskets of beautiful pink and white gladioli. gladi-oli. Greeting the guests at the door was Mr. and Mrs. Elmo Curtis, uncle and aunt of the bride. Russell Rus-sell Jensen, brother of the groom was best man and others in the receiving re-ceiving line were parents of the bride and mother of the groom. Mrs. Allan wore a blue crepe gown and Mrs. Jensen green faille. They wore identical corsages of red roses and white carnations. Dawn Miller took care of the guest book and Mrs. Afton Clark the gift book. Mrs. Renee Curtis was in charge of the gift room and 15 girl friends of Colleen helped in the gift room and with the serving. i Mrs. Daniel Ross Furnished prelude pre-lude organ music and played the wedding march after which a delightful de-lightful program was enjoyed with Glen Holly as master of ceremonies. ceremon-ies. The rooms were beautiful with a profusion of fall flowers and a high light was the beautiful 1-tier wedding cake of pink roses and white lattice work topped with a miniature brido and groom. The bride and groom have returned re-turned from a honeymoon through the northwest and are making their home in Mt. Pleasant. |
