Show Fynera! Services Held Wednesday For Jesse C. Davis Funeral services were held in the Fifth-Sixth ward church Wednesday Wed-nesday for Jesse C. Davis, 72, a native of Payson, who died Sunday morning at the home of a daughter, daugh-ter, Mrs. Ed Averett, 473 South Averett Ave. Burial was in the , Evergreen cemetery, directed by A. Y. WheeL-er WheeL-er and Son Mortuary. Born February 2, 1882, at Pay-son, Pay-son, a son of Jonathan and Alta Hancock Davis, Mr. Davis had made his home in Springville for the past ten years. He was a member mem-ber of the LDS church. Most of his life he had followed farming. He married Sarah Jane England, November 28, 1905, at LeGrande, Ore. Surviving are his widow of Springville; three daughters, Mrs. Ed (Vivian) Averett; Mrs. Wray (Alta) Nelson, Springville and Mrs. Bill (Fern) Bowen, Spanish Fork; a sister, Mrs. Marion Smith, Calif. There are also 15 grandchildren grandchil-dren and five great grandchildren. |
