Show Auerole Club Gives Mother's Day Program The Auerole club spent a pleasant evening entertaining their mothers and guests at Bart's on Tuesday last week. Thirty-five members and guests enjoyed dinner served early. The tables were decorated with novel floral maypoles executed ex-ecuted by Mrs. Alton Packard, who carried out the club colors of blue and gold. Favors were daintily wrapped for the guests. Mrs. Eldon Palfreyman, clut president, was in charge of the program supplied by Mrs. Vera Zobell and Mrs. Earl Francom on the life of Carrie Jacobs Bond. They gave several of her compositions, accompanied by Mrs. B. E. Oldroyd. Mrs. Zobell Zo-bell also told of Mrs. Bond's difficult life filled with tragedj and poverty and of her struggle to get her music before the public pub-lic which resulted in her forming form-ing her own music company. New officers will have charge of the next meeting of the clut planned for May 21, at th home of Mrs. Harry Hulce where the retiring officers wil be honored and new members welcomed to the group. |
