Luncheon was served to twenty-two including two special guests, Gen Allen and Ruth Headman. Camp Mapleton DUP will meet at the home of Mrs. Blanch Tew this afternoon. All members are urged to be present. pres-ent. Sierra Bonitai club members enjoyed a social evening at the home of Mrs. Rebecca Fullmer Friday evening. Supper was served early in the evening and was followed by cards. Ten ' club members and two guesU I were present. i Mr. and Mrs. Carlo Perkins I and family of Salt Lake City i spent Mother's Day at the home 1 of her parents,- Mr. and Mrs Burton Warren, i Mrs. Marva Whiting spent Sunday in Delta at the homr of her parents, Mr. and Mrs John Evans. Mr. Evans is critically crit-ically ill. Mr. and Mrs. Willis Harmer spent Mother's Day at. the home of their son-in-law and daughter, daugh-ter, Mr. and Mrs. Ennis Woffin-den Woffin-den in Benjamin. Mr. and Mrs. John Spencer entertained the presidency of the Elders of the Mapleton Second Sec-ond ward presidency and their wives at a chicken supper Saturday Sat-urday night. Places were laid for Mr. and Mrs. John West-wood, West-wood, Mr. and Mrs. Ferrus Lar-sen, Lar-sen, Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Williams Wil-liams and the hosts. Mr. and Mrs. Bob Jacobson accompanied by Dean Binks, spent the weekend in Bell Gardens, Gar-dens, California, where they were guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Reese Mower. Mrs. May Binks returned home with them after spending several weeks in California. Mrs. Marva Whiting returned return-ed last week from a ten-day visit vis-it to Roswell, New Mexico, where she visited at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Ned Whiting. Ned and his wife have a new girl. Marva visited her son, Milo Johnson in Needles, California Cali-fornia prior to her visit to New Mexico. The Mapleton Jaycees and their wives enjoyed a roller skating party at Park Ro-She Thursday night of last week. They met early in the evening in Memorial Hall for a short business meeting and were served lunch. Thirteen couples participated. Arrange ments were made by Johnny Bleggi. |
