Show Companions Club Gives Mother's Day Program Dinner and a program were highlights of a party given by Companions club members for their mothers and other guests Thursday evening in the Fourth ward hall. In charge of the evening's entertainment en-tertainment were, Maryn Jac-obsen, Jac-obsen, Jeri Winger, Beth Jensen Jen-sen and LaRae Stewart. Dinner was served early followed fol-lowed by a program in which Frances Clark entertained with vocal selections, accompanied by Mary Bird. Elaine Puckett gave a piano solo and Annalee Strong gave a toast to mothers with her mother, LaRue Walker, Walk-er, responding. ' "The Family Nobody Wanted," Want-ed," was reviewed by " Irene Moon as a special feature of the evening. Gifts were presented by the group to the following guests: Barbara Clark, Elizabeth Patterson, Pat-terson, Cleonda Miner, Lillian Thorpe, Leonia Cameron, Thel-ma Thel-ma Cherrington, Janice Weight, Hazel Roylance, Marian Smoot, Carol Colver, Emily Miner, Mary Reed, LaRue Walker, Emma Em-ma Jacobsen, Lela Sumsion, Ida Worthen, Ella Strain, Beth Mayfield of Provo; Ada Hewlett Hew-lett of Draper; Alice Willardson of Gunnison and Mrs. Moon. |
