Show 1 4 -H CLUB NEWS A second year 4-H club was recently re-cently organized at Mapleton with officers as follows: President, Ova Dell Hopla; vice-president, Genevieve Gene-vieve Jensen ; secretary-treasurer, Jean Lindscy; recreation committee, commit-tee, Barbara Burgi and Margaret Johnson; reporter, Christie Soren-son. Soren-son. The leaders are Mrs. Vivian Averett and Mrs. Bernice Aver-: ett. ; The Lucky Clovers have organ-j ized with new officers as follows: Carol Clyde, president; Ila Sun-j bloom, vice-president; Mary Jane Condie, secretary treasurer;, Louise Averett and Ruth Hll, ; cheer and song leaders; Kathleen j Hollcy, reporter. Tess Taylor is the club leader. Members of the Jolly Team 4-H club met at the home of Mrs. Grace Richmond. Mrs. Lizzie Billings Bil-lings explained the outing held Wednesday. A demonstration on washing silk hose was given 'by LaRue Richmond and LaZcll Felix. Fel-ix. Sewing and games were other features of the meeting. The C. C. S. club held their meeting at the home of Miss Ranee Ra-nee Johnson. Instructions in pattern pat-tern cutting and measuring were given and a lesson on darning taken up. Refreshments were served in conclusion. |
