Show Elaborate Vaudeville Act; Big Parade Fireworks Scheduled One of the biggest ami most I elaborate vaudeville acts ever seen in this vicinity is to be in Springville for the Fourih 'of July celebration, it was announced announc-ed Wednesday. Returning from an engagement in Australia, the company will include some of the best vaudeville performers in Vc country. Only through direct contact with a coast to coast vaudeville agency in California was the performance in Springville made possible by the big company. It will include features never before seen and perhaps never to be seen again in this city. This phase of the celebration will be held at night, at the city ball park, where accommodations will bi completed to entertain several thousand people, hundreds hun-dreds expected to attend from nearby towns. . In addition to the big vaudeville vaude-ville performance, numerous other oth-er celebration features already planned promise one of the most enjoyable and best holidays ever held here. In the forenoon, there will be a daybreak salute, later a patriotic pa-triotic program at which Isaac Brockbank will be the principal speaker. There will be "kids' sports" of every description at the city park. In the afternoon, ball games for boys and girls will be featured and at 6 p. m., a mammoth street parade will be held on Main street. There will be fireworks galore in the evening, at the ball parlt, together with the giving away of numerous cash prizes. The latter lat-ter will be in connection with the treasure hunts being conducted in the -city this week-and next.. The chamber of commerce members sponsoring the celebration celebra-tion and neither time or effort is being spared to give the town one of its biggest and bc3t cclOv brations possib'c. Numerous committees arc working on details and the cooperation co-operation of every individual is desired in the undertaking. Next week's Herald will carry a complete program of events, with the time and place of each in detail.
