Show NIGHT PLAY (Editorial) A movement is under way here to secure lighting facilities facili-ties for the city ball park, so that men and boys who are unable, un-able, because of work to participate in the early evening games, might have the privilege of playing later. As has been proven during the past several weeks, the soft ball activity ac-tivity in Springville is being received with a spirit of enthusiasm, enthus-iasm, with many men enjoying the recreation. With a lighted park a still larger group might be benefited. The lighted soft ball park in Spanish Fork has proven an asset to the city by providing suitable grounds not only for community softball gameis, but for the .presentation of rodeos and numerous other forms of entertainment. It is the earnest desire of many citjizens that this community will keep abreast of the times, ant! at a comparative small cost, install the light improvement: which will undoubtedly be a benefit to the town as a whole. |
