Mr. and Mrs. Elmo Blackett have just returned from an enjoyable en-joyable trip to Yellowstone National Na-tional Park. They also visited Mr. and Mrs. Bertrum Hair at Logan. Mrs. Zoa Hardy of Los Angeles, Calif., is visiting here with relatives rela-tives and friends. Members of the B. T. club of this city spent an enjoyable time last week at Kelley's Grove. Miss Nedra Beal spent the past week with her uncle and aunt Mr. and Mrs. John Do'rius in Salt-Lake Salt-Lake City. The 4-H Sewing club of tha Second ward held the second meeting meet-ing of the season Saturday. Sewing Sew-ing of pajamas featured tile meting met-ing with eight members present. Mr. and Mrs. H, G. Thorpe and Mr. and Mrs. Harlon Boyer of this city have just returned from an enjoyable two week s trip tq the world's fair at Chicago. Mrs. Clara Smith and Misi Hazel Smith of Santa Barbara, Calif., visited Saturday with relatives rela-tives and friends here. Mrs. Smith, is sepnding the summer with her. daughter, Mrs. Maud Halliday at Santiquin. Among the nicely arranged parties par-ties of the past week-end was one given by President Mary Reed and Counsilor Marie Crammer oi the Fourth ward primary, in honor of the retiring officers, and teachers. The social was held at the home of Mrs. A. Y. Wheeler. A review of the book, "Brothers West," given by Mrs. . Mae Huntington Hun-tington was especially enjoyed byj all. Refreshments were served om small tables, carrying out ai dainty color scheme of white and green. Over twenty-five primary officers and teachers and guest3 were present. Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Anderson and daughter of Salt Lake City visited Tuesday with Mrs. An-i derson's, mother, Mrs. C. A. Boyer. Mrs. Golden J. Hoover of Cal-i iente, Nev., visited one day last week with relatives and friends here. Mrs. Hoover formerly of this city with her husband are spending a short vacation in Provo canyon. Miss Edna Starr is spending the summer with her sister, Mrs. Grover Clyde and family at Chicago. Chi-cago. Miss Rhea Nielson entertained a large group of friends at a, birthday party at her home Saturday Sat-urday evening. She is eleven years old. Gomes followed by a dainty lunch were enjoyed by nearly thirty guests. Miss Mary Ollerton entertained entertain-ed at an enjoyable party at her home Wednesday evening, games and a delicious luncheon being enjoyable features. There were present Miss Lenla Thorpe.
