The Springville Canning com-' pany recently completed the season's run on peas( canning approximately ap-proximately 28,000 cases. The crop this year was about 70 per cent normal but were of good quality. They were classed in seven different dif-ferent grades. The factory equipment equip-ment is now being overhauled for; the tomato pack which will begin in about three weeks. A city milk ordinance was submitted sub-mitted to the city council Monday night but was rejected with recommendations rec-ommendations that it be further revised to meet 'local conditions. City Attorney Arnold C. Roylance will have the ordinance ready for the council's consideration within j a few days. The council, Monday night, also discussed the proposition of constructing con-structing a sewer system here. The proposition was referred to Mayor George A. Anderson and W. W. 'Clyde for further investigation. investi-gation. Regular sewing classes are being be-ing held twice each week at the-fire the-fire hall and are attracting a large number of women accord-ing accord-ing to the leaders in charge.
