Show EIGHT LOCAL TEAMS ENTER' NEW LEAGUE A Softball league has been formed for Springville for the coming season. Eight teams have been selected to r?lay with Tuesday May 1 set as the opening date of ! play. 1 The Five wards of Kolob stake along with teams from the Poultry Plant, Firemen and Businessmen will complete the league. At a meeting held recently the I folowing rules were drawn up: I Each Ward must play no one ex-; ex-; cept Elders from their own re-! re-! sective ward, exception, they may have two alternates. The Poultry and Businessmen's teams must submit t a list of 15 men to the Softball committee, the chairman being Cliff Crandali, on or before the last day of April. If, during the season they desire to change their list, they may do so by notifying noti-fying the committee one week before be-fore the new players are to be used. Time of games 5:30 p. m. Each team must furnish one ball and one bat. Games will be played according to new revised Softball rules. t The league has been divided into three divisions, each team playing every other team twice in each division. Mapleton is entitled to one game with each team in each division on its own tit-kl. !
