Show KIWANIS CLUB PLEDGES AID TO PROJECT At a meeting of the Kiwanis club last Thursday evening, the members resolved to support a movement for the widening of the state highway, 6 or 7 feet on each side. They also planned to attend the junior livestock show and banquet ban-quet at Spanish Fork, Wednesday thereby eliminating their regular Thursday night meeting and luncheon lun-cheon this week. Clarence Savage gave a French horn solo, accompanied by Mrs. Lucille Stowell. J. F. Wingate acted act-ed as toastmaster. After the meeting the club members assembled at the high school art gallery where a talk on the art exhibit was given by Wayne Johnson. The Kiwanis members now are making extensive plans to entertain en-tertain the various clubs of the state at the annual art luncheon at the high school next Thursday evening. eve-ning. Invitations have been extended ex-tended to all Kiwanis and a large crowd is expected to come to Springville for the affair. |
