Show Wheat Allotments For Utah County Utah county's wheat - seeding acreage allotment for the crop to he harvested in 1939 has been set at 17,361, according to Sidney J. Nebeker of Laketown, chairman of the state Agricultural Adjustment administration committee. This represents the county's proportion of the 209,724-acre state allotment. The county's ten-year ten-year avarage production and acreage acre-age diverted from wheat production produc-tion under previous AAA programs were considered in giving each county its fair proportion of the total allotment. Farm allotments will be made and announced by county AAA committees according to average wheat acreage for the ten-year period, total tillable acreage, crop rotation practices, type of soil, topography, and acreage diverted from wheat under other AAA programs. pro-grams. Announcements of farm allotments will be made in time for farmers to plan crop distribution distribu-tion on the farm for next year.
