Show 4 H CLUB NEWS A night club floor show will feature the annual Utah County 4-H club outing at Park Ro-She on Wednesday, August 10, according accord-ing to officers- in charge.- Each club in the county will present a number on the program pro-gram with assignments already made as follows: Stunts, Alpine, Pleasant Grove, Spanish Fork, Palmyra, Salem, and Goshen clubs; reading number, from the Utah county office force; trio, Mapleton Maple-ton members ; dance, American Fork; musical number, Springville; Spring-ville; accordion solo, Lehi; girls' quartet, Genola ; Whistling numbers, num-bers, Spanish Fork. The schedule for the day, according ac-cording to present plans, includes a floor show, 10 a. m; scavenger nunt, 11 a. m; lunch 12:30 p.m; swimming for members under 14 years, 1:30 to 3 p. m; and games ancl sports for the older club members; 3 to 4:30 p. m., swimming swim-ming for the older groups and games and sports for the younger members; 4:30 p. m., candy shower. Keith Boyer of Springville, president of the Utah county group and general chairman of the outing, will direct the program; pro-gram; Mrs. Inez McDonald and Mrs. Lou S. Groesbeck of American Amer-ican Fork, will direct recreation and Mrs. Mabel W. Jense of Pleasant Pleas-ant Grove, will have charge of the candy shower. Paul Hendnck-spn Hendnck-spn of Provo will give an exhibition exhibi-tion of "swimming, diving and life saving. Each local unit will be expected to provide its own transportation and furnish its own lunch, officers state. Approximately 600 boys and girls from all over the county are expected to attend. |
