Show larthwest Plane Wreck Located SPOKANE, Wash., Dec. 22 (U.E) Short wave technicians sat by their receivers today awaiting word from a rescue party climbing climb-ing Cemetery Ridge, near Kellogg, Idaho, where a wrecked north-' west airways mail plane was sighted. sight-ed. It was believed the searchers, a party of 10, led by Deputy Sheriff Alvin Sherwood of Shoshone county would find pilot Joe Liver-more Liver-more and co-pilot Arthur Haid, dead. The plane was found Monday by Lt. Cooper of the Washington National Guard air force. It has been missing since Friday on a flight from Missoula to Spokane. A portable radio set carried by the rescue party was expected to flash word when they arrived at the scene. There were no means of telling how far the party travelled up the 4,000 foot mountain. Flying weather was so bad all planes were grounded. |
