Camp News He Hock Canyon (amp K-10 Company No. 95H A Rroup of 146 enrollees from this camp were called out Wednesday Wed-nesday afternoon to assist in the wide search which is being made for the lost air liner. This group of enrollees consisted of every available man in camp Including the kitchen force Who were off duty. Captain R. W. Broedlow, district dis-trict quartermaster and Captain Guy Castleberry, district veterinary veteri-nary inspector visited camp Tuesday Tues-day morning and made an inspection inspec-tion of the camp. Captain Broedlow Broed-low inspected the recent improvements improve-ments made in camp and Captain Castleberry made a food inspection, inspec-tion, checking on contract items such as eggs, meat, and milk supplies. The efficiency award for the month of November was made to Enrollee, Arnole Johnson during an all-camp night program held in camp last week. This award Is given each month to the most outstanding enrollee or enrollees in the company from the standpoint stand-point of work and conduct and anyone receiving it is looked up to as 'tops' in our company. Everyone thoioug-hly enjoyed five reels of pictures shown in camp last week on the wild life and beauty spots in Utah by Lee Kay from the state fish and game department. These pictures were shown as part of the all-camp night activities and consisted of reels on reptiles, fish, and deer as well as the national parks and monuments in our state. The enrollees ol this camp will begin their Christmas vacation Tuesday December 22 and be off duty until the following Monday morning. Immediately following the grand Christmas dinner w'hich is being prepared for - Tuesday evening the enrollees will be excused ex-cused from camp and they will journey to their respective homes and enjoy Christmas day. |
