Show Million Trees In Day CCC Record WASHINGTON. Feb.. 22 KM!) Planting by the Civilian Conservation Conser-vation Corps of a million young trees per day during the last four years was hailed today as an aid "to the nation's fur-reaching flood control program. Importance of the work was stressed by Robert C. Fechner, CCC director, and F. A. Silcox, chief of the U. S. forest service.
