Show SPRINGVILLE CLUBS BEGIN ART PROJECTS1 Looking: forward to the opening of the sixteenth annual National Art exhibit of the Springville hierh school, the various clubs of the town are beginning their annual activities to help meet the financial finan-cial needs of the project, according accord-ing to a report by Mrs. Mae Huntington, Hunt-ington, publicity director. Last week the Mothers' Study club sent in a check for $44, according ac-cording to J. F. Wingate, secretary-treasurer of the Art association. associa-tion. Mr. Wingate also calls attention atten-tion to the fact that the success of the exhibit this year will be due largely to the contributions from the clubs, since the city council will be unable, because of the building of the new art gallery, gal-lery, to render its usual generous assistance. Most of the individual contributions, too, that have been received during the past year, have been diverted to the building build-ing fund. However, in spite of increased expenditures connected with the holding of the exhibit in the new gallery, the committee expresses the belief that this year's exhibit ' will be one of the most successful ever held. |
