Show High School Opera Pleases Large Group; Last Show Tonight Those who saw the Springville' hih school opera at the matinee performance Tuesday afternoon and on Wednesday night, were thrilled and amazed at the splendid splen-did talent exhibited both in music and art. While the opera one of outstanding out-standing beauty in itself, its presentation pres-entation would be far less interesting- were it not for, the gorgeous gorg-eous costumes, and the beautiful scenery and stage settings employed. em-ployed. The entire presentation shows untiring effort both on the part of students and directors to give the public an outstanding performance. Every detail including in-cluding the dances, dramatics and music accompaniment has been worked out to an appropriate climax. Adding much to the musical entertainment en-tertainment is the gorgeous stage setting and decorations all of which have been constructed in the art department of the school. The garden of the Japanese ruler i9 particularly effective with beautiful Japanese lanterns all made by the students, hanging in the foreground. A Japanese garden gar-den entrance wth the traditional fan and dragon emblems adds a beautiful and artistic touch. The last performance of the opera will be given tonight at the high school and everyone is invited in-vited to attend and are promised a rare musical treat. |
