Show FAIR GROUNDS PUT N SHAPE Work on the grandstand at the fair grounds Is progressing rapidly rapid-ly now and will be completed in time for the Utah county lair on September 15, 16, 17. About 200 feet of roofing is being be-ing put on the stands shading almost al-most 2,000 seats, according fo Milton Harrison, deputy county auditor and secretary of the fair. Three more rows of seats are being be-ing added, increasing the seating capacity quite a bit. The section being covered is the center Tialf of the west portion of the stands. The rodeo and horse show spectators will benefit from these covered stands for both shows are to be held here. Ribbons for the winning exhibits in the fair were selected today for the stock of the Provo Bookbinding Bookbind-ing company. |
