Show SURVEY MADE OF GARDENS A second survey of the most outstanding gardens entered in Kolob Stake Relief Society better garden contest, just completed by Mrs. Prudence Palfreyman, representing repre-senting the stake Relief Society board and W. H. Anderson, high school agricultural instructor, reveals re-veals that some excellent work is still being done in gardening. A vast amount of vegetables . has already been canned from, the various gardens and much is be---frig canned,- according to a report by the garden inspectors. Another survey is scheduled to (etermine the amount of vegetables vege-tables pitted or otherwise preserved pre-served for winter use before the . final selection of the best gardens is made. Officers in charge of the garden contest commend the efforts of those interested in the worE this ' year and are anxious to encourage more entries next season. The garden contest is being sponsored by the Relief Society with an aim of encouraging more and better vegetable gardens. |
