Show 2 FAST BOUTS ON AT RO-SHE Jones-Taylor Match Vies With v McCann-Park Bout For Fan Enjoyment. Something of a double-barreled attraction is scheduled for the Park Ro-She arena Thursday night when Wildcat McCann is re-matched re-matched with Dean Park and Henry Jones will take on the powerful pow-erful Ned Taylor in wrestling bouts. Both these bouts are top-notch-ers. Since Park was defeated by McCann three weeks ago, Park and his supporters have declared that the referee really caused Park's downfall. Whether this is true or not, those fans who saw the bout maintain it was one of the most exciting that has been held there. Both grapplers know various unusual methods of inflicting in-flicting punishment and are certainly cer-tainly not loath to put them in practice. Taylor Vs. Jones The Taylor-Jones match is also attracting a lot of attention. Whenever Jones gets in the ring an interesting bout is the natural thing to expect, but when he crawls through the ropes to clash with an outstanding tussler like Taylor, an even beter show than usual is expected. The fact that Swede Lawson, Salt Lake grunt-and-groaner, will referee the matches, is an attraction attrac-tion in itself. Swede had his shirt torn off by McCann while referee-ing referee-ing a bout between the Wildcat and Jones last week and proved himself as both colorful and capable cap-able as third man. Two four-round boxing bouts and a preliminary are also scheduled. sched-uled. Don Ostler, Springville, will take on Byron Dennison of Provo in a return match and Pete Jensen, Jen-sen, Springville, will box Ras Haws, Provo. |
