Show Miss Anna Beardall who is teaching at Moroni high school is spending the holidays with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. G. L. Beai dall. Mrs. A. C. Bird is visiting her sons, Vern Bird and Dr. Boyd Bird and families in California. Mr. and Mrs. Chester Johnson of -Richfield, Idaho are spending the holidays with relatives and friends here. David Noakes of Logan, formerly former-ly of this city spent two days of the past week here, coming especially es-pecially to attend funeral services for his sister, Mrs. Emma A. Bryan. Miss Carol Cherrington entertained enter-tained a group of friends at a Christmas party at her home Sunday. Games and lunch were enjoyed and gifts were exchanged. Mrs. Nora J. Clyde is visiting her daughter, Clara and family in Berkley, California. Mr. and Mrs. John Jansen and children of Ogden spent the Christmas Christ-mas holidays with Mrs. Jansen s mother, Mrs. A. O. Childs and family. Miss Berthena Childs and Miss Nell Weight, Salt Lake teachers are spending the holidays here. Miss Lucille Collins, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John H. Collins of Provo, was united in marriage to Gordon M. Weight,1 son of Mr. and Mrs. H. M. Weight, Friday night in the Salt Lake temple. Apostle George F. Richards performed per-formed the ceremony, in the presence pres-ence of Mr. and Mrs. Collins and Mr. and Mrs. Weight and Mrs. W. A. Williams of Salt Lake, an aunt of the bride. The couple plan to make their home in Richfield. , fz Mr: and Mrs. Merrill Singleton entertained at a nicely arranged Christmas dinne Tuesday with coves laid for Mrs. Pheobe Sigle-ton, Sigle-ton, Miss Rose Marie Singleton, Helen Nielson, Robert and Max Singleton. During the dinner, the latter entertained with songs and readings. Officers and teachers of the Third ward primary entertained at a Christmas party Saturday night complimentary to their husbands. hus-bands. About thirty members and guests attended and enjoyed a variety of games and lunch. Following the dance Christmas night, the Busy Fingers club mem-1 berg and their friends were entertained enter-tained at a "pot luck" supper at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Reed Straw. Mr. and Mrs. Arvil Bird and family were Christmas day guests of Mr. and Mrs. A. C. Lambert in Salt Lake City. Announcement is made of the marriage of Miss Beatrice Wheeler, Wheel-er, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. T. Wheeler, to Fred . B: Evans of Provo, son of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Evans, which took place last Friday Fri-day in the Salt Lake temple. The young couple will reside in Salt Lake. Mr. and Mrs. . Leo R. . Freshwater Fresh-water of Provo announce the marriage mar-riage of their daughter, Ruby, to Leon Warren Dalley of Springville which took place Monday evening December 17, in the Salt Lake temple. The young couple will reside re-side in Springville. A well appointed family dinner was given Christmas day at the home of Mr. and Mrs. A. W. Fin-ley. Fin-ley.
