Show Evans History Is Told At Meeting SPANISH' FORK Members of Stephen Markham camp, Daughters of Utah Pioneers, heard the history of the late Margaret Mar-garet Davis Evans as told by her daughter, Mrs. Mildred Evans Ream, Friday. Vice Captain Myrtle Woffinden was in charge of the meeting, which was held at the home of Mrs. Mae Thomas of Leland. The program follows: Singing, conducted by Mrs. Nellie Larsen and Mrs. Virginia Gardner; an original poem by Bud Davis, who dedicated it to his mother; history his-tory of Joseph J. Evans, read by his daughter, Mrs. Mae Thomas; "When You and I Were Young, Maggie," by Erma and Daisy Thomas. Refreshments were served following fol-lowing the pfogramm. Twenty-five Twenty-five members were present. |
